Day 1: Chiang Mai:
Arrive in Chiang Mai and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit ancient city walls and the city’s significant temples: the glorious Wat Suan Dok, Wat Phra Sing, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Ched Yod and Wat Chiang Man. Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 2: Chiang Mai
Enjoy the full day excursion of Chiang Mai. Morning visit of the elephant training center – see the demonstration of elephants at work (optional ride not included). Visit a typical orchid and butterfly farm. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the handicraft villages in Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng, the centers of hand woven Thai silk industries, traditional local products, antiques from Burma, hill tribe handicrafts and cotton and wood carving. In the evening, enjoy a Khantoke dinner with dance performances.

Day 3 Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son
Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flight to Mae Hong Son. Arrive in Mae Hong Son. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, visit the impressive Phra That Doi Kong Mu Temple on the hill, and the lakeside temples. Dinner and overnight in Mae Hong Son.

Day 4: Mae Hong Son
Enjoy a full day soft adventure and culture excursion. We first take a long-tail boat tour along the Pai River, then enjoy an elephant ride through the jungle and a visit to the Long Necked Karen village. These local women are known for wearing numerous brass rings around their elongated neck. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to town.

Day 5: To Chiang Mai
Visit the fresh morning market of Mae Hong Son and transfer to the Mae Hong Son Airport for flight to Chiang Mai.
In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Doi Suthep Temple and go up Doi Pui mountain in a 4×4 truck to visit a White Hmong Hilltribe Village. Wat Prathart Doi Suthep is the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai and contains a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. After visiting this temple, go up the mountain of Doi Pui in a 4×4 truck. Visit to the White Hmong hilltribe village, where you will see the Hmong in their colorful costumes selling a wide range of antiques, decorative ornaments and fabrics. The villagers now earn their living by planting vegetables and growing fruit, having replaced their traditional cash crop – the opium poppy.

Day 6: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai
After breakfast, Depart from Chiang Mai to Thaton village, enjoy a beautiful scenery. After lunch, ride long tail boats to Chiang Rai, passing by the local villages of Muser and Karen hill tribes along the banks of the Mae Kok River. Arrive in Chiang Rai late in the afternoon, then transfer to the hotel.
